Right Sometimes
Mkhi will be a fans favorite under Wenger.

Wenger and Mkhi have been a match made in heaven from day one of his career.
Both very intellectual people and in terms of their relationship to the players Wenger is a lot like Klopp and that's exactly what Mkhi needs
in a coach - a trusting, genial one.

He will have it all he needs to flourish and on his day Mkhi is absolutely unplayable. Not to mention he does not only assist but should be our most dangerous midfielder in terms of goal output, if he just comes close to old heights.

We all should be looking forward in excitement to have that fella in the squad. :bounce:

Yet another mentally frail number 10 in our squad. Do people not see how this stupid recruiting policy of stuffing the team with silky number 10s is one of the root causes of our downfall? Allow me to predict Mkhi's career at Arsenal: he'll be put on the wing initially, where he will under perform, then Özil will get injured and Mkhi will be put in the middle. He'll flourish for a few games and people will clamor for him to be put in the middle somehow, but he'll be shifted back to the wing for more "meh" performances and his head will drop

In his best season in Dortmund, he played on right wing. He isn't typical no.10. He performs better, when there is another playmaker near him. We have Özil, also Jack.

So Özil & mkhitaryan then, because we don’t have any other silky players anymore

You've got me hoping mate, obviously I voted no on the poll because voting yes after you swap your best player for someone who's flopped is mental, but I do think there is a chance he might fit in here and produce.

If we use him in right way he'll be great fit here you don't score 20+ goals and make 30+ assist a season and call yourself bad player

The swap deal involving Alexis Sánchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to be completed in the next 48 hours.

Mkhitaryan, the Manchester United midfielder, arrived in London yesterday and is expected to undergo a medical at Arsenal’s London Colney training base today.

Sánchez today posted footage on his Instagram account of him boarding a private jet. The Chile forward is expected to undertake the first part of his medical at United’s Carrington training base this evening. Should there be no complications, the transfer involving both players is likely to be announced on Monday or Tuesday morning at the latest.

It is understood that the deal is a straight swap, which is something of a coup for United given that Sánchez was valued at £60 million last summer, when he came close to signing for Manchester City on deadline day.

Mkhitaryan agreed personal terms, worth around £140,000 a week on Saturday evening after he said goodbye to his United team-mates at Carrington the previous day.

Both parties also have paperwork to complete, including an update to each player’s work permit, hence why the deal cannot be completed today.

Sánchez is expected to take part in his first training session with his new team-mates on Tuesday as José Mourinho has given his squad two days off following their 1-0 win over Burnley yesterday.

Wenger left Sánchez out of his squad for Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Crystal Palace yesterday because the swap deal was nearing completion.

“I didn’t take him [Sánchez] because there is a question of him moving to Manchester United and you cannot drive up north and as well play football,” the Arsenal manager said.

“That’s difficult so that’s why I decided to leave him out. In these kind of things, as long as it’s not over the line you cannot say it will happen because the negotiations become more and more longer and edgy because every detail becomes important nowadays. If you want to have a bet, it could happen.

“It happens only one way, if the other way happens as well, that’s why it takes longer as well because it has to be co-ordinated. Sanchez will only happen if Mkhitaryan comes here.”

Mourinho gave the impression that he felt he had got his man following the win over Burnley, which kept United 12 points behind the leaders Manchester City.

“If you ask me if he is coming, I think so, but I have no confirmation,” the United manager said last night.

“I expect it soon or never. It is so close - so close that if it doesn’t happen it’s not going to happen. So I am positive. I know my people are doing everything they can. The owners [Glazers] with the green light, Mr Woodward working hard with Matt Judge [head of corporate finance] and everybody is giving everything they can and I think they are going to be successful.”
