We would have won league as i doubt Unai 4 years in would have a defensive bench of Holding and F all. No question a decorated, experienced manager closes the deal last year. Maybe this year to. Who is responsible for 2 destroyed seasons due to Holding and no defensive cover? Undoubtedly Mik bottled last seasons title charge and our CL run 2 years ago as well.

please Villa were in relegation zone when he took over. And he did the double over Mik and didn’t he knock us out of Europa as well. His team was recklessly and negligently constructed last year and we paid the ultimate price.

Arteta's 1 FA cup is worth more than any trophies you win with PSG, bar the Champions League...at least use Emery's Europa's with Sevilla, as thay was a better achievement for Unai than picking up cups with PSG.

If you said prime Arsène, Ancelotti, Mourinho etc could win the league over Mikel...then yeah fine, but Unai has never proved himself to thay level.

He's a very good manager, but he's also had some big **** ups that you would never let go if Mikel did it.

Getting battered in the Europa to Chelsea here, losing Top Four here, not winning the Conference League at Villa, losing the league to Monaco with PSG, losing in that famous Champions League game to Barcelona.

Mikel did way worse. He bottled 2 seasons in a row on the same pub league defender. He cost us this year by Karen attacking Gabriel the points we need for league. Unai has chest full of medals compared to One Cup Mik. Mik hasn’t finished 8th twice? That isn’t a big down? No one manager ever at a big club gets out of jail cards like Mik. Look at the money he spent getting a downgrade on Emi? Look at his Willian debacle why dod he keep playing him?
