Did you guys see him giving a team talk before the game? Happened a few times while they wait for Ødegaard to join the huddle. Doesn’t look like somebody who doesn’t care or like football to me. He’s one of the leaders of this team, no doubt about it.

Pretty sure he just said he prefers playing to watching football. Don't think he said he doesn't like football. Don't even think its possible not to like football and be a top player in a top modern team, too much attention to detail and focus on small margins for someone who isn't interested.

People often use the Assou-Ekotto example but he played for Sp**s who clearly aren't a top team...

Watching that again, he easily could have dribbled a yard closer as Neuer was rooted to the spot. A case of not expecting to be in such an amazing position to score.

More of a do nothing jump out. He was backing off last night and actually turned his back on one attack. At some point, he has to engage. If Jorgi can tackle perfectly in the box, then our defenders should be more able.
