City could do with both Bruno G and Paqueta tbh.

Paqueta is more of a Gundogan replacement, with Bruno being able to play deeper for them.

Their last two signings in the deeper midfield position, Kovacic and Phillips, have flopped, so they need another guy there.

That true but they likely need to sell at least tow of them to sign both Bruno and Paqueta

Exactly, they are different players and City can do with them both.

Bruno will be quality rotation to Rodri, or hopefully Rice on our side.

They’re linked with Musiala as well tho arent they? Different profile admittedly but still. I can see Musiala being grealish replacement but neutering him on the wing tracking back all day just like he did with grealish would be an ICC level hate crime.

This would be worth spending most of our budget for. He's a brilliant player and this team would be better for 1-2 big signings than 4-5 Vieira type projects at this stage.

I didn't want him close to this squad. Maybe I have negative impression on him due to his nastiness every time him playing against Arsenal. But after watching some of his highlights, he seems capable to complement Rice. He wins not only 50-50 balls but also 45-55 balls when being surrounded by multiple opposition players. His distribution is fairly good, too.

Don’t fancy our chances beating City to a second signing. Don’t think there’s a London factor for him etc. But he would be a brilliant signing for us

Arsenal Quotes

I can really see the light. I’m telling you I’m very positive most of the time. I’ve seen the light and I can see bright lights. There can be bumps in the road within that light, but I can see a lot of light.
