📢 Rumour Bruno Guimarães

If we want him I hope it doesn't become protracted. Try to get the deal done quick & if it's not gonna happen, move onto the next target.

Feels as tho something is happening in the background, so let's see.

Not sure how I feel about Rice staying at 8 - it is extremely conservative. Bruno can’t play anywhere else bar 6 in my mind because he hasn’t done it at the top level.

And what was your opinion on Xhaka playing LCM for Arteta?

Xhaka had 7+7 in EPL last season, while Rice has 7+9 playing DMF more (but giving corners which evens it out a bit).

Can see us trying this but ending up with FDJ. Does feel like we are often unsuccessful with the primary target, just happens to work out for us.

FDJ style wise is closer to Partey than Bruno G.

This, but also FDJ is just a different class of player than Bruno man. I have lingering doubts about his fitness but FDJ, Rice and Odegod would be the best midfield in the league, and only bettered by Madrid on paper for me.

Kinda wish these links never happened coz now I’ll be a bit underwhelmed if we sign Bruno.

In reality though either would be a very good signing, think they’re the right types of players to be going for as well.
Yeah I’d really be happy with either of those 2, as well as Douglas Luiz as well as 3rd choice. If we are talking about deep lying CMs who can make things happen, these guys will improve our team.

Agreed, FDJ is a dream. Then again, either improves us and I think a midfield of Øde, Rice and Bruno is also definitely up there, albeit not as good and with slightly different qualities.

I’ve always thought FDJ to be a tad overrated over the years, but there’s no doubt he’s a top level player, and style wise, he gives us a lot of options in midfield.

I think him and Rice are both 6/8 hybrids (Bruno probably is as well), so both could theoretically interchange role based on the opposition.

I with with a guy like Rice though, you need a build up specialist next to him, which is where FDJ is better than Bruno.

Personally think FDJ and Bruno are a level above Luiz. If #5 goes, we will need similar quality coming in to replace him.

Bruno was walking the suspension tight rope for a long time, he was was one yellow away from a two game ban for something like five matches and managed to avoid it.

Can definitley be disciplined when he wants to be.

Yes but did you see Eddies interview and when he told him we need you coming days, stay out of trouble and he said I will. Eddie said yeah sure and basically said he didn’t think he could
