Eddie Nket14h: Answering The 📞 From England

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
The club has done its part giving him enough chances over the years, but he didn't do his part to keep his place.

No chance he stays this summer, which isn't a bad thing for him at all.

The pitchforks have been out for him since 2019. He's just not good enough. Nothing to do with these 10 minutes.
I’m not disputing whether he’s good enough or not. Just find it bizarre that people are giving him sh*t for a match we lost 2-0, which he only played like 10 minutes of.

Ahhh, I see the bullies are looking for their scapegoat....
Nobody is making him the scapegoat. It's not his fault he's not good enough nor did anyone expect anything from him in his cameo. The frustration is directed towards the club wasting resources on a player who isn't a difference maker when difference makers are needed to cope with adversity and make things happen.

Nketiah and El-neny must be the 9th wonders of the world with how long they've convinced managers that they should be on the squad even as rotational players. Even Holding didn't have this much sorcery

You say that, but it's interesting that in the games we have won recently that he has come on nobody has mentioned his name and as soon as we lose a game, his thread goes boom. Coincidence? 🤔

Why didn't his thread go "boom" when he came on in these games: 🤔

Because every player's thread is quieter when we win than when we lose and when they perform well than when they don't. The forum in general has less traffic when things are going well. Go and compare the traffic in Saliba and Gabriel's threads, win or lose to Martinelli and Saka's threads, Matlock. I understand you think you made some kind of gotcha discovery but you really didn't. 😂

When he comes on and does nothing(again, not his fault) in a game we lose, his inability to make an impact is obviously going to be discussed more than an instance where we don't need him to make an impact and he doesn't (games we win). This is basic common sense.

So from what you've said, it's clearly 'kneejerk'. He barely played for 10 minutes and the loss seems to be on him and how he didn't impact the game enough ? How many of those 18 shots we had yesterday were during his cameo? It's OK to criticise, but be constructive and reasonable with it.
