No one's talked about how unbelievably awful Rooney was yesterday?

He had 23 passes before half-time and when he was substituted at the 67th minute mark he had made a total of... 23 passes, he keeps walking about in the midfield and struggles to get up to the box, he's had 27 shots and only scored 2 goals the whole season, lots of guys on here have been saying it for a while, but really Rooney should be done at Manu and more importantly England.

He gets paid just to show his face.

The stone that the builders refuse
Manchester United vs. West Ham
Total Shots: 21
Shots on target: 1
Manchester United had 21 shots at goal in the goalless draw with West Ham. Just one - a Marouane Fellaini effort - was on target.

The most wasteful Premier League performance ever?

Nearly. But not quite.

Blackburn and Manchester United in 2007 and Everton in 2009 all played league games in which they had 23 shots with only one on target.

United performance today is fourth on that list of shame.

He must have it written into his contract that if he's fit he starts.

Martial reminds me of Janzulai of last year. A lot of hype, but then nothing.

Martial is still Utd's best attacker, problem is that teams know that and if they mark him out of the game Utd has no options. This is a repeat of LvG's Holland in the world cup and how Holland struggled when teams started taking Robben out of the game.

We drop so many cheap points. Pressure is on LvG for the game against Wolfsburg, crash out of the CL and it could get ugly.

The league this season is in a right state, it's there for the taking. SAF would have wrapped it up by February.

Not with the current squad he wouldn't. The last title was a last hurrah of the older players who played out of their skin. If he stayed on he would have struggled with next season hang over of the quality older players not being ready to play out their skin again. Somewhat similar to what we're seeing at Chelsea but obviously SAF would of done better than Moyes.

This season I think we're seeing a more competitive league due to the money even mid and lower can now spend on fees and wages. Players I'd be happy to see don an Arsenal shirt are playing for Palace, West Ham and Sunderland. Stoke have just taken apart City by outplaying them

Depay and Martial are lacking confidence. Martial it's youth the guy isn't Messi. Depay starting to look like a waste of money. If I was a United fan I wouldn't expect much out of Rooney at this point.
