They'll be delighted with fourth. They've got poor fullbacks, one real striker, while their two best players will miss at least a quarter of their league games respectively. I'll eat my hat if they're anywhere near the title.

And you Cole = Benayoun. No more, no less

Agger doesn't remember anything from the Arsenal match and is getting headaches even when he watches TV or reads newspapers.

Sometimes, it's better not to risk players like that. Even their physio seemed very reluctant to let him go back in at that time.

I was shocked he got back on. The physio didn't want him on.

He needs to be out for a while. Concussions are no joke.

Yeah, but Roy Hodgson forced him on if I am not wrong. Even he himself wasn't sure what was happening and he didnt want to go on but was forced on

Roy Hodgson sounds incredibly ignorant of concussions from that interview. This has just become a big issue in the states with American Football in the last year or so, but the results are terrifying. Like shave-20-years-off-your-life-live-as-a-vegetable terrifying. Very, very stupid to put him back on there. He was on queer street and then some.

Absolutely, it was a ridiculous thing to do. You don't mess with head injuries, you just don't. The number of people who get "a headache" and then spend of the rest of their lives in a care-home would astonish most people.

Interesting article about a lineman re: head injuries. If that man is heading the ball with the effects of a concussion still lingering, that's serious trouble.

Sky Sports breaking news, Kenny Huang pulls out of potential bid to takeover Liverpool.

Gives no reason as to why he opted not to invest, just simple informed the chairman he is no longer interested and that his company are pulling out.

I think it was mentioned somewhere that there are a lot of business men who now see expressing interest in purchasing a Premiership club as a way to raise their profile. Not saying this was the case but I guess you'll have to expect a few of those.

Having said that I don't know if it's a case of he's seen the books and taken flight, it won't be the 1st time.

What a truly atrocious piece of business that was. Probably the nail in the Benitez coffin in truth. Watch them have Stevie get injured now and see where it leaves them.

Why doesn't Roy try to get the best of him instead of shippping him off on loan?

Hodgson has been really hyped up in the media. But his team looks rather Benitez-like so far(though it's very early of course).

Hodgson has taken over a very difficult situation between Rafa being a numpty and the ownership situation which can be very unsettling.

Agree. My amusement is more with how the angle of the media changes depending on whether they're covering someone they like or someone that they've decided they don't like. You see the same with the favorable coverage Martin O'Neill gets.

Apparently our favourite club Barcelona had £12mil bid rejected for Mascherano. and now rumour has it he has refused to play tonight.

Mascherano has reportedly gone on strike now. Looks like there'll be one more massive cúnt in Barca's squad before too long.

Arsenal Quotes

No one could have imagined for a single second that he would come to us. Only David Dein, Sol, his agent, and I knew what was going on. When I called a press conference to announce the arrival of a new player, and Sol Campbell walked into the room full of journalists, it was a bombshell.
