The opposition wasn't the best I know, but theres so much to like about Matteo. Love that Unai's not scared to give him game time, but people need to realise this guy is still very young.

Our main man on the ball, always available. I had a feeling that he improved his defensive game compared to last season.

Last 30 minutes, but was standing still just like everyone else in the first half. Also pretty poor defensively in the first half, but grew into the game. As did Xhaka.

Do like him though, but this was not a special performance. Pretty good on the ball as usual.

Had an 86% pass success rate. Dispossessed once, won and lost 3 aerial duels each. So it's not that bad

Not great either imo. Still a lot of improvement to be done!

I like him but there were a couple of times he might have intercepted the ball and cut out the danger but he chose a safety first option. Hes not quite there defensively but if coached properly, he'll be a special player.

No laugh. Had to go back and look at the stats after you questioned me. Definitely the best game of the midfielders. You and I must have been watching different games champ.

I love him. I love the way he can dribble from deep and is always forward thinking with his passing. Has some work to do on the defensive side of the game but that will come. Would also like him to refine his shooting a bit.

But this guy is a huge prospect. World class potential. Excited to watch him develop here.
