Did anyone really think Özil would leave when he signed for us? Always imagined this was his destination (working with Wenger) and after that it would probably be U.S.

Only ever threat was him going back to Madrid. It was always them or Arsène. Since Madrid are in no hurry whatsoever to get him back, he will remain here for as long as Wenger managing.

Less chance of him leaving than Theo or Ramsey :lol:

I think Özil will stay , I see him playing in turkey at some point.

Would that be because he had stated in the past that he would like to play in Turkey at some point later in his career?
Which won't happen, btw, until he retires from international football.
