That Newcastle goal is why they need to redraft the handball rule

Is that not handball from Gordon?
Last season it would have been disallowed. Technically it's within the rules but it shouldn't be. For me the change they've made this season is a backward step.

Shocking league really, barely any of the bottom 10 deserve to be Prem teams this season.

Jamie Redknapp interpreting handball worse than me. On the second goal the player has enough time to get his hands out of the way. Sure. A ball smashed tucked away in the most unnatural position that is acceptable - hands locked behind his back, arms by his side and elbows pointing out (where else do they go).

He is meant to move all that in a second or two. If he moves it he makes any other movement he himself bigger and deliberately moves his hands.

The powers that be really need to get a grip on the handball rule. Maybe from the wrist down.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert PirĆØs was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
