I think this will give some confidence back offensively need a good game against Nottingham it's in 10 days so we'll be fresh. All the team done well despite few of them look nervous

Excellent win & should give us a nice confidence boost. Bit of a shame we have a lengthy wait til the next game, but hey ho.

The "fall over finish" is something very useful if you can master it, Henry used to love doing that ..if you do it right it can really help you with placement.

Delighted for Martinelli, been done dirty this season so far.

Good things about this match:

1. Someone in Dubai did teach Arteta how the substitutions works in football.

2. ESR is a better midfielder than Havertz and immediately circulates the ball faster and better. He reminds me Özil in the way he moves without the ball, even the jogging and when he sprints (bad for him because Arteta hated Özil and hates every player with that sense of intelligence because they are not robots to control).

3. Martinelli can score if LCM is doing what a midfielder does so he is not isolated.

4. Jorginho shows what Rice lacks, quality long pass. Breaking lines with a nice pass to the open spaces is something Rice can't do and maybe he never will develop. That's something very difficult to learn.

It basically allows you to get a wider angle. You don't really try to fall over intentionally, you just risk falling over to get a wider angle while approaching the ball.

Two set piece goals one of them own goal, one decent counter at the end of first half then two goals when Palace stopped trying.

Arteta has blood on his hands.

That first win after a slump is always going to be a slog to be honest. Its just the way we play, even at the best of times.

What's more important here is that we get back into our groove, particularly upfront. Such results brings back the confidence, and the much needed fluidity and decision making back.

I don’t like how they’re selling this Ivan Toney return like a peak Zidane is making a comeback.

The media were quick to throw him under the bus and now they’re on their knees for his return.

We seem to have no answer for the low block at the moment other than being a threat from set pieces. If we don't score early or go a goal behind it's GG. Smith Rowe is vital against teams like these with his one touch pass and move play. He drags players with him and opens up spaces.

When you give success to stupid people, it makes them more stupid sometimes and not more intelligent.
