Tricky game this one depend how Brighton approach this if they attack like De Zerbi usually does then that gonna suit us.

Brighton have been awful away from home but have only lost once at the Amex to West Ham toward the start of the season. However, even their home form is very patchy, drawing lots to sub-par teams. We really should be winning this - if we do it's on like Donkey Kong.

This is a team we really should be blowing away. They're very open and while they are more advanced technically and tactically going forward than many of the teams in the league, they are not in a good position in terms of their injuries as well as De Zerbi publicly flirting with leaving. There's no good reason not to put them to the sword and continue our momentum.

Have to go for this. No two ways about it. A draw kills us if Liverpool win their next two games.

Hopefully they will attack too and not let us try and break down a massed defence. That will suit us. Can't see us running away with it so any substitutions thinking about Bayern game will need to be very carefully managed.

Ideally Partey and Jorginho will share midfield duties but after last night I could see ESR getting the last 20/25 minutes and saving one of these for Bayern. Jesus needs to step up here. Kiwior or Tomi at left-back.

Narrow win for us. 0-2 would be amazing.

Think it's the context that makes this hard, we got Bayern in a couple of days after and its easy for some players to think about that game instead. I don't know man but its easy to forget that a lot of these players have never been in this position before. Hopefully they do their job and we smash them.

Jesus is defo due a good performance, not really been up to his own high standards since returning.

Even the much-maligned TP5 was pinging passes like prime Dan Marino last night.

I highly doubt that. If we lose a game, the league is probably gone. Even a draw against that lot would be a disaster. They know that. Nobody is thinking about Bayern until Brighton are beaten, Arteta will ensure that.

They arent the same as last season though, it will be tough not denying that. Play to our strengths and we win.

Brighton are a dangerous team, but they haven't got the squad to rotate and cope with 2 games a week

Wednesday night couldn't have gone any better for us, in reality it was a training match for those who played, and others were able to be fully rested for Saturday

If we can't win this game with 8 games to go then we are not going to win the league, when the pressure really comes, yes we have Bayern on Tuesday, but we cannot take any game for granted and it's the first 11 to start, we can blow them away if we play anywhere near our best and look to rest at the end if necessary, but to think there is any opportunity to rotate from the start is dangerous

Our out of possession game really destroyed them at the Emirates, had we had our shooting boots on we would have finished them in 30 minutes.

They will definitely be wiser in this game, so Im expecting some changes to their build up patterns for us.

We need to hit them hard, early. Get the game safe and then control possession and our legs thereafter.

I’m in 2 minds on how we should approach this.

Our usual high intensity out of possession game with a high press? Or a lower intensity mid block bearing in mind we have Bayern a few days later?

In an ideal world you’d say high intensity and early goal and then relax. But in reality you can’t guarantee the early goal…

Arsenal Quotes

A team can attack for too long. The most opportune time for scoring is immediately after repelling an attack, because opponents are then strung out in the wrong half of the field. All the men are expected to play to plan, but not so as to stifle individuality
