Pointless transfer seriously. We saw with Chambers that going out and playing for a team who sit back and defend does nothing for players who then have to come and play in our system.

He'll no doubt look good for Burnley under Dyche, but then he'll come back here and won't have 4 midfielders parked in front of him.

May be pointless but then other teams came and offered us 20m for him on the back of that loan. Depends on the purpose of the loan but I wouldn't see it as a bad move.

Dyche would be perfect for him. Nearly everybody at Burnley can defend there. A loan would be really nice.

No point going to Burnley unless they are selling someone. He can be 3d choice here, unless we are buying Evans.

Same sources that were breaking the stories about Aubameyang and Giroud are saying that Arsenal are reluctant to loan Holding. This must mean we're not getting Evans and our focus has been on Aubameyang the entire time. Mavropanos the only defender in then?

If Holding got playing time then Burnley would be an amazing move for his development.

Could bring Dychey back with him too.

Send him on loan. What's the point of having him, Chambers and Mavropanos just sat on the bench? Let them develop somewhere at least.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
