This guy is more of a Jorginho than a Xhaka, we need someone that can play a bit further forward than Jorginho and Partey.

Rice can do both 6 and 8 roles but he’s better as the 6.

Yeah true, but think that’s as much down to Havertz being a total flop as anything else.

There were Atheltic articles in the summer from club mouthpieces claiming Rice at 6 was the key to having Havertz and Ødegaard in midfield. That obviously hasn’t worked out so it’s Rice at 8 with someone else at 6.
