Your All Time Football XI

Right, after some arguements etc about who is better; and after looking for this thread and not finding it I thought I'd start it. Forgive me if there is one--please move this to that thread.

Give us your All time eleven. They can be from anywhere, and any era.

Here is mine:

Seaman
Thuram Adams Maldini Carlos
Keane
Figo Zidane Maradona
Bergkamp
Ronaldo (R9)

Subs:
Schmeichel
Baresi
Cafu
Vieira
Ronaldinho
Giggs
Henry

Re: Your All Time Football IV

I think it would be better if we do the best XI we've seen.

Edit - I'm thick.

Re: Your All Time Football IV

Good thread mate. Here's my choice:

---------- Schmeichel --------------

-- Cafu - Campbell - Maldini - A.Cole --

--------- Vieira -- Keane --------------

-- Xavi -------------------- Zidane ----

--------- Henry ---- Ronaldo ----------

Schmeichel - was the best keeper around for years.
Cafu - legendary player. All-time great.
Campbell - best CB in the world for a few seasons IMO.
Maldini - goes without saying.
Cole - rate him extremely highly. Big-game player.
Vieira - best CM in my lifetime.
Keane - a legend and a winner.
Xavi - best player in world currently. Makes everything look easy.
Zidane - best player I've ever seen. Legend of the game.
Henry - easy.
Ronaldo - Barca Ronaldo was phenomenal.

Bit of bias but it's an Arsenal forum. And they all genuinely have a case IMO.

Puskas must be there. :D Scored 7 goals in 2 European Cup Finals. :) Scored 509 goals in 523 competitive matches in his carrier.

Sorry for the Hungarian bias.

As much as I'd love to see a couple of Scottish players in an all time XI, there's no way this post should go without at least someone calling Hansen a ****ing ****.

There's someone better though, Paulino Alcantara, 357 goals in 357 matches for Barcelona, and 6 goals in 5 matches for Spain.

Can't believe that people who were supposedly growing up during the nineties are holding Ronaldinho higher than Baggio. Blasphemy is what it is. Blasphemy, I say!
