Right, after some arguements etc about who is better; and after looking for this thread and not finding it I thought I'd start it. Forgive me if there is one--please move this to that thread.

Good thread mate. Here's my choice:

Schmeichel - was the best keeper around for years.
Cafu - legendary player. All-time great.
Campbell - best CB in the world for a few seasons IMO.
Maldini - goes without saying.
Cole - rate him extremely highly. Big-game player.
Vieira - best CM in my lifetime.
Keane - a legend and a winner.
Xavi - best player in world currently. Makes everything look easy.
Zidane - best player I've ever seen. Legend of the game.
Henry - easy.
Ronaldo - Barca Ronaldo was phenomenal.

Bit of bias but it's an Arsenal forum. And they all genuinely have a case IMO.
