Always amazes me when professional players can't deal with competition. De Bruyne broke down and left Chelsea when faced with competition, only to thrive when a team is built around him.

That's a bit harsh on de bruyne.

He was a young and very talented player who needed games to continue to develop.

Playing under mourinho who will always pick the experienced head over a young player, he did exactly the right thing in leaving as time has proven.

Wenger in his post-match interview:

'Those debutants are not ready to play at this level. None of them.'

Arsène on the youngsters:

"it was too high for them...they are not ready for this level...none of them"

hmm...harsh...proabably true....but debuchy/mertesacker/chambers/gibbs/flamini/Campbell/ were all worse

Wenger's overplaying the injuries to divert from the loss.

Ox wasnt getting games anyway, and Theo wont be out for more than a week, two at most imo.

Wenger saying all the youngsters aren't ready for this level yet in the post match.

Can't disagree, he won't have been expecting losing both Ox and Theo, probably had zero intention of having so many of them on the pitch at once.

Got to say that was harsh on the young players from Arsène.

Disappointed in him, that was a Mouronho move that.

Really hoped our youngster would do better today, Bielik and iwobi did just what i expect arsenal up and coming talent too do in a match like this, the others where ok at best,

You didn't put enough effort in this thread, mate, the players felt that. ;)

Might make it, if no one else is on it.
I am going to uni next year, I am extremely busy... That thread was made after a long day of working + homecoming, which is like a beginning of the year prom for those of you who aren't American. Will try harder next time mate...
