Giroud is good, not many better for his style of forward.

Mbappe is untested and just potential at the moment. Isn't he more of a left winger anyway?
Would rather see Giroud up front next season than this flavour of the month hype train.

Anyone impressed by the performance of Emil Forsberg today ? He's been putting in these kind of performances all season. Great player.

Mbappe coming in for Griezmann! Lets see how he does with this France team

Mbappe was on for 12 minutes and didn't score

I think it's fair we should all protest for every minute he failed to find the back of the net Monaco should deduct £1mil off his price tag.

;)

I can see what your coming from regarding Lukaku but I'd just rather that leathel pace and finesse finishing.

But with Lakuka there is no risk whatsoever his proven and will do the business. Going to Chelsea tho unfortunately

Pablo says this won't drag on, I'm sure it won't but I get the feeling we won't get Kylian. And after that who do we go for? We came into this window not expecting much. Now because of this bid for Mbappe we're expecting a hell of a lot.

Yeah, that's the problem. We don't want his style of forward.

Ask Monaco's opponents in the knockout stages how unproven he is. Martial was unproven. Mbappe just savaged the best competition in the world as an 18 year old. He's also a left winger in the same way Henry was a left winger or Messi is a right winger. He's a scorer with the dribbling ability of a wide player who likes to drift in rather than operate centrally all the time. Hasn't hurt either Henry or Messi. You want Giroud up front instead? Cool you're entitled to your opinion but every manager on earth including Wenger evidently would beg to differ.
