Word is Arsenal is very happy to keep him and there is a contract on the table. Alexis has not signed the extension and yet to tell the club he wants out. The club has not received any offers. Alexis will not be sold to another PL club. Arsenal is prepared and will let him go to another country for the right fee. Arsenal plan to go all out for Kylian if Alexis leaves.

Reckon Wenger will go all out to get Mbappe whether or not Sanchez stays.

I think we're pricing him out of a move. Even City probably can't afford £80m and a further £83m in wages over four years(£400k a week).

I'm not familiar with this "word," but if you remove all the noise that has people on a wild roller coaster ride over this, it would seem to be the most reasonable scenario based on Wenger's statements, Alexis' silence (aside from his cryptic, noncommittal answer while trying to deflect the question at the press conference) and a bit of deductive reasoning.

However, if Kylian Mbappe calls up Arsène Wenger tomorrow and tells him he wants to join him at the club, Wenger will do everything he possibly can to make that happen. Alexis or no Alexis. Doesn't matter how many players he's already signed. Mbappe is that special talent that stands outside the normal building of the squad.
