There's no way Mourinho will play like that against Man City.

He doesn't rate Wenger, that's why he tried going toe to toe with him and still ended up winning.

He'll resort to all out defence against City. It would be **** to do this against City, they'll lose by 7 or 8.

We can be encouraged by the bulk of that performance. What is important now is that Wenger addresses the points of failure and more importantly ensures that we can replicate this level of performance while away.

We have given ourselves a lot to do for the rest of the season, but we looking strong.

Well I do know, UTD. actually knew how to defend and with a dollop of luck kept us out. Imagine us under that pressure, it would have been 10-1
Exactly. Mourinho's players do not consistently make the crucial errors that ours do, and they made sure that if we scored we would have to work for it. On the other hand, our players quite often gift opponents goals...

What do you mean United knew how to defend?

They were absolutely brutal at the back. We carved them open again and again.
Yeah but they got bodies in the way, their keeper made saves, they got heads on the ball - if we were so ****ing good why did we only score ONE. You can have the attitude to defend & unfortunately that is not in our DNA

The only factor that counted was we couldn't defend! Simple. This is a forum where we can air our opinions & I'm going to go overboard on this because I'm incensed. Disappointed, gutted but unfortunately not surprised.
Don't be incensed ffs. We carved them apart over and over again. Their defence was f*** too. They just had a keeper that played out of this world.

That was one of the best games of football I've ever seen.

A good example of why stats like xG are useless. I've never seen an xG as high as 4.6 before in a big game and yet we only scored 1.

To be honest, looking for the positives in a game we lost 3 -1 is kind of loser mentality. We lost this game in the first 10 mins or so and as someone posted, you can't ignore that.
Final result, we lost end of story.
Exactly how I feel. I've been feeling this way for the past 10 years, it is amazing that we have made no progress whatsoever and if anything, we're going backwards. We are rubbish, Wenger has no idea anymore how to manage a football team.

This is not true. Mourinho has never gone toe to toe with Wenger’s teams because that would be ****. He mentioned this week that he believes in 11 players who defend, and 11 who attack.

There is a reason why Wenger has a better record against Guardiola, who is a better manager than Mourinho.

Mourinho has always attacked the space when it comes to Arsenal. Either by counter attacking or in this case pressuring us into mistakes.

The key here is that we provide his teams with those opportunities, either by overcommitting (Chelsea 6-0 win) or making stupid mistakes as we have seen today.

Mourinho is not a football coach, he is an error punishing specialist

I wish Wenger won't be nice with team after the game.

They fought yes but it was unprofessional unacceptable to start and make these mistakes against teams who good on counter.

This post is the truth.

Regardless of how many chances we created. The reality is we were d***less and lost.

Let's not forget Utd were missing their best two defenders in Jones & Bailly. They were also playing with 10 men for the last 15 minutes.

There are hardly any positives for me regardless of how many chances we created. We looked very shaky and suspect at the back.

Lol his team got dominated 33 shots he faced 13 on target! If other more ruthless team man utd will come out with lose yes he won not because he don't rate Wenger because the mistakes our defenders made Wenger had nothing to do with it
