Lacazette MOTM - no doubt!

So far easily the best performance of any player under Emery. Worked so hard all game, a fantastic goal and an assist - what a player.

Life must be so so hard for the Laca haters on here right about now :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

From now on please.

Ill echo others in saying that midfield remains our biggest issue. Torreira has to start, thats obvious. Who partners him less so.

--------------Lacca
Auba ------ Özil -------- Ramsey/Mhk
-----SideshowBob---- Torreira
Nacho --- Sokratis - Mustafi - Hector
------------ Leno

Can't believe we won, reckon Cardiff must be the worst team we'll face all season.

Definitely, a better team would have punished us today, just as vs West ham.. I refuse to believe we'll look this bad after the intl break too.

Two wins against teams we should have beat. A close loss away to Chelsea which could have gone any way and a nailed on defeat against City.

It’s not terrible, it definitely doesn’t look nice on the pitch but so far so good.

Positives:
- rare away win
- win before international break
- laca and auba both scoring
- Torreira performance when he came on

Negatives:
- two soft goals against a team that hadn't scored before today
- xhakas brain dead moments
- still looking very shaky at the back

Happy enough with six points but was hoping we'd look a bit better than we have so far.

Torreira and Lacazette absolutely must start at Newcastle and I'd say the same probably goes for Leno and Mkhi.

If he isn't benched after this performance you either have to question Emery or Leno is a dud..

Leno being a dud is disproven by his overall solid to very good Bundesliga years. You can go and watch his 233 games for Leverkusen, and while you will see some dodgy performances and horrendous mistakes - as with any goalkeeper - you will find he's not an inch worse than Cech.

If Cech continues to start games it is on Emery.

Defensively were **** no doubt but lets just enjoy this win for a moment - and remember, the next episode of the José show is about to start :)

Arsenal Quotes

I want a fan to wake up in the morning and say, “Arsenal are playing today, I’m going to have a good time.” That guy starts his day off by thinking that something good is going to happen to him. And to do that, big clubs like Arsenal have to have the ambition to play spectacularly. Of shared happiness.
