With Long and Austin playing for them we'll need three goals to win. The next two games give us a chance to nudge in front of Chelsea and Manu - Manu could well drop five points in them and Chelsea can't get more than three and could drop points as their only game is against Spuds. We will need this cushion because I can't see us getting anything away at Spuds next weekend.

Interesting that Shearer scored a hat-trick in his first league start but we are expected to protect and molly-coddle our young players so as not to ruin their careers.

Özil owes us big time in this game. I don't expect him to chase back. I don't expect him to fly into 50/50 tackles. But I think there has to be a bare minimum where you attempt a tackle if you lose the ball and it rolls back directly in front of your path. Emery must have burst a blood vessel when he looked at the video of Southampton away. Maybe that was always Özil's plan :lol::lol:

Can't believe these ****s beat us and it wouldn't surprise me if we drop points to them tomorrow. They seem to do us in at least once almost every year. Just like with Swansea before, ****ing sick of them and hope they get relegated. It's the only way we can deal with the boogey teams, by not competing in the same competition as them.
