Özil at 10 And Emery Out
Who the hell wanted to reward him with a new deal last summer!?!
Emery had a grim time in Moscow. Imagine the Russian players already struggling with English trying to understand his Spanglish.
For all we know he's a superb tactician, but just can't communicate. Like being taught Maths by an autistic genius, the kids might flunk their grades but the teacher sure knows his stuff.
Besides Allegri, the rest were equally poor.
He had exciting teams at RB, but not any achievements to show for.Rangnick?
Wonder if that's why Bellerin's not playing. Too busy spending his time telling players what Emery's just said, rather than training. He should’ve had someone on his staff who could speak Spanish and English fluently.
Imagine Wenger got top 4 from year 1 and even maintained it through all those low funding years. It a took a really concerted effort by fans to drag him out of the top 4 after 20 years.Conte was discussed but not pursued? This club needs liquidating.
Emery can turn this around. Having said that, Emery's best might not be good enough.
Let's not forget the Wenger had to stay on in 2017 because the club didn't have a plan in place. Looking at the names from 2018 their plan then wasn't much better either. Now we've got absolutely no contingency plan for replacing Emery despite the appalling performances and the fact he's clearly losing the dressing room. Wenger's not here any more, we can't blame him for everything anymore. What now? Don Raul is twiddling his thumbs as Leicester and Chelsea emerge as the clear favourites to get top 4 and we're being left behind.
Yeah, and not addressing the defence this year was criminal. We're Arsenal, isn't it about time we stopped taking old Chelsea rejects?Let's not forget the Wenger had to stay on in 2017 because the club didn't have a plan in place. He was in charge of Chelsea that time even two months after hiring Emery.
Why was he discussed then? I'll tell you why because everyone and their mother knew Sarri was getting the job and Conte was leaving. Waiting another month or so for Conte would have been better than giving this joker the job.
same communication problems with Conte tooAfter seeing Contes second season at Chelsea, I wouldn't take him personally.
Contes a great coach but I don't like his character, not suitable to Arsenal.
Top post. The alarm bells should have been ringing when Chelsea who had a transfer ban were still willing to part with Luiz and put faith in a youngster like Tomori and bring back Zouma. But this is Arsenal we do everything by trying to take shortcuts instead of spending proper money on a top CB.
most packs only have two jokersTop post.
You'd have to be totally blind not to see what a rash defender can do to us ie Mustafi. Then we bought 'lookie likie' Sokratis. And if that wasn't enough we bought another, just the same this year.
Don't get me wrong none of these are bad players, just prone to stupid mistakes. We now we have 3 of a kind. OK if you play poker.
