Guys like Ferdinand and Campbell were miles better than Terry, while Lampard was miles better than Gerrard.

Would say Terry and Gerrard were actually poor for England. Ferdinand and Campbell made back to back teams of the tournament in the 2000’s, starting in the Japan WC.

Respect your opinion but have to disagree. Especially regarding Gerrard and Lampard.

Gerrard was a much better all-round player than Lampard.

For me not much between Rio, Terry and Campbell.

Pretty solid side with some glaring weaknesses. The top talent rivals most other nations though with Laudrup and Simonsen.
