League is very weak
I genuinely think the club are trying to force him out by doing this, the issue being Özil doesn't give a **** really and will see out his year regardless...from his point of view he's got a 1 year holiday, while getting £300,000 a week...who would give that up
What sort of way is this to run a club though?

We brought in the guy who was involved in the Neymar fiasco and played a big part in making Barca the laughing stock it is behind the scenes. When Raul leaves I dread to think of what he’ll leave behind.

Is it the right tactic though? Doesn’t seem to be working. The club are choosing to waste resources in this post Covid climate.

Waste what resource? It's not like Özil is a resource to us anymore, him playing would have made zero difference in our results. At the very least we need to send a clear message to our other players that either they produce results or they will be kicked out. No one is irreplaceable.

He might have appearance bonuses in his contract that the club are trying to avoid paying. Not playing him because he wouldn't take a pay-cut is pointless. Trying to force him out by not playing him is also pointless. His agent has reiterated that he will see out his contract.

Arsenal Quotes

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
When you read some books they are fantastic, the writer touches something in you that you know you would not have brought out of yourself. He makes you discover something interesting in your life.
If you are living like an animal, what is the point of living? What makes daily life interesting is that we try to transform it to something that is close to art. And football is like that.
