The undiluted rage I felt at that moment was off the charts.

Really? When Özil was the best player in the team in 13/14 and 15/16, they challenged for the league. When it was Alexis in 14/15 and 16/17, they were miles off the pace.
Didn't Gabriel go all the way into the crowd? The undiluted rage I felt at that moment was off the charts.
Özil was always the perfect side guy though, he needs to play next to a more dominant personality to get the best out of him...like Ronaldo at Madrid, or Sanchez at Arsenal.
Where their beautiful football went to die:
Alexis and Özil were similar level players imo.
Biggest loser in Arsenal history.Where their beautiful football went to die:
Celebrating his goal from the previous week like that when we needed to get the game kicked off ASAP. He looked silly that dayThe undiluted rage I felt at that moment was off the charts.
that's big issue we had since Özil Alexis transfers we just surround them with midtable playersAlso I can't be bothered to check if this tweet is accurate but if it is it's pretty damning. Özil was supposed to be the start of an era, competing with Bayern etc etc, and Alexis is the only player we recruited to play with Özil who was at the level we were supposedly aiming for. Responsibility has to lie with Wenger and Gazidis for that.
It’s so f*cking annoying we didn’t have Auba just a couple of years earlier.
2013-15 he was very good apart from big games 15-17 was good the last one i agree with.2013-2015: Underwhelming
2015-2017: Elite
2017-2021: Crap
