He was carrying an injury/recovering from surgery. Can’t remember the timelines.
But A-M experts who love making up excuses for our players don’t ever think they might apply to others.
If you check his career stats and ignore the span where he’s carrying an injury then this form isn’t that unexpected. He’s in very good form but this is not a purple patch.

This is next level though. Yes he was productive before. Nothing like this. Either Rashford for me like Leao is a striker. He needs to man up and fight at his weight

20/21: 21 goals, 15 assists in 57 games.
22/23: 22 goals, 8 assists in 35 games so far.
What he's doing now is not too distant to what he showed in 19/20. But he's improved as a player, he's not just scoring long ranged goals, or dribbling past players. He's genuinely an aerial threat and scoring the type of tap-ins he was criticised not for being in the right position enough.
If he was our pen taker over Bruno he'd be closer to 30.
