Nah f that, it's been far to long since we've played one of the big boys.
I think the same. Give me like Barca, AC Milan and Celtic. Proper CL games and abit of decent opposition to test us.

No point finally getting to the CL and playing Europa league opposition.

I agree with @Tir Na Nog . Tough group better with some good teams. Celtic or Rangers would be a good game for Irish/NI/Scottish fans.

PSG, Arsenal, Salzburg, Celtic group imo. Some glamour ties and minimal travel.

Give me Union Berlin from pot 4. Nice short travel for the team, can probably get tickets somehow and pillage and raze the city afterwards.
They won't even qualify for CL, because Werder will trash them on Saturday. Freiburg it is.

Unfortunately Ajax can also still qualify for the CL and if they go, we are back in pot 3.

PSV need a draw to qualify for the playoffs, and Ajax need a win. Games played on the 28th

So it’s super Sunday, and for Arsenal in p2

Juve vs Milan (we want Milan win, draw, loss by 1)
Twente vs Ajax (we want Twente win or draw)
AZ vs PSV ( we want PSV draw or win)
Same with LaLiga, Villareal could also still qualify for CL, they are ranked above us in the coefficient table as well, granted with 3 matches to go they are 5 points of CL but you never know,

Roma and Juventus could still get CL through Serie A, both with better coefficient than us

Going into the final weeks around Europe, here's the situation for us to get pot 2.

This can be resolved by the weekend, if some results go away, described below.

Spain

We want Sociedad to get 1 point
from their last two games to qualify for the CL. They are away to Atleti this Sunday (28 May) and home to Sevilla next Sunday (4 June).

We dont want Villareal to qualify. They need 6 points from their next 2 games. Away to Rayo Vallecano this week (28 May), and home to Atleti next week (4 June)

Netherlands

We want PSV to qualify for the CL playoffs. They need 1 point from their remaining game
, away against AZ Alkmaar on the 28th May.

We dont want Ajax to qualify for the CL playoffs. They need to win their remaining game, away against FC Twente, and hope PSV lose to AZ Alkmaar on the 28th May.

Italy

We want either Milan or Atalanta to qualify for the CL.

Milan, on 64, need 3 points from 2 games to get to 67 points and knock both Atalanta and Juve.

Atalanta, on 61, need to win both games and hope Milan drops points.

We dont want Juve to qualify. Juve, on 59, need to win both games to get to 65 points and hope both Atalanta and Milan dont get to 66 points.

Maybe

You're wrong, no?
Missing on the EL 21/22 will definitely hurt us over the next couple of years (if we play CL), we could've been within the top 10 clubs

We could escape our poor performances in the EL, if results go our way in the coming weeks. This weekend to be exact. Thereafter we need to push for the quarter finals to boost our coefficient again.

Saka and Co aren't signing and wanting to play CL football for big ties against Feynoord or Porto.

People seem to be worrying about getting a difficult group. Embrace playing the best teams in world football. We didn't qualify for the CL to play Feynoord and Porto.

We are unlikely to win the thing so let's pit ourselves against the best to see how close or how far we are away from the bigger teams and if we finish 3rd so be it. Go and try, with our bigger squad to win the EL. We will learn more about the level of our team as a collective, players as individuals and manager playing against Barca, AC Milan and say a Celtic or whatever than playing Feynoord, Porto and another weaker side.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal was firmly embedded in the local community and had a very solid, working-class foundations. The fans espoused the club's values. This visceral attachment, from childhood, to a club and a team is something I have never seen anywhere else with such fervour. Every fan's first match at Highbury was like a baptism.
