This is why we need Sanchez so much. This game is waiting for someone to take it by the scruff of the neck!

Need our big players to step up I.e. Özil, xhaka, ramsey!

Sloppy stuff, but not a bad half for us overall. Could have been up a couple if Bellerin, Ox and Welbeck had more composure.

That's my critique of him. If he isnt passing it well or being given space to do so, he doesnt have anything else in his locker.

Yet mystifyingly enough, some here would have us believe he's a midfield maestro

Stoke look soft and easy to get at. Meekly kicking the ball out for diouf is a huge indicator of our mentality. Also, the amount of basic errors we make is astonishing sometimes. Five yard passes, miscommunication, hesitation in 50/50 challenges. It's very strange.

On the plus side, lacazette looks great. I'd love to see him play with the old Özil.

Arsenal Quotes

When I arrive at the gates of Heaven the Good Lord will ask "What did you do in your life?"
I will respond "I tried to win football matches."
He will say: "Are you certain that's all?"
"Well, that's the story of my life. It is not easy to win football matches, you know."
