Ante Rukavina has made, with his excellent preformances, big teams from Croatia (Dinamo, Hajduk), lot of teams across Europe interested for him. Several teams from France (including both Olympiques , Lyon and Marseille) sent scouts to watch him with great interest. Last scouts that came to watch him are from Arsenal! They came to watch him in Šibenik-Kamen Ingrad game. Tony Banfield came to Sibenik, Arsenal's scout whose job is to search players in Italy, France, Spain,... Rukavina's manager Siniša Šošo (he is not worthy to spend any words on him, and unfortunately he represents young prodigy) and Pharos Sport agency have thier connection in Dusko Grabovac, former HNS employee and close friend of Arsenal's vice-chairman David Dean.
" I have been talking to Dean for quite some time about Ante. After a while there is again young player that deserves to be talked about. It's too early to say Arsenal's intentions, but they are very interested. Besides, Rukavina is nowhere near 70% caps " told Grabovac to "Vecernji List" (Evening news)
I wrote some time ago about Rukavina here:

And I'll copy/paste it here:

And 3rd story is about big young prospect from new team in first league. His name is Ante Rukavina and plays in attack for Sibenik. I must say he reminds me of a certain Gunner. Just type "Ante Rukavina" in youtube and you can see 2 clip of who am I talking about. His team is at the moment no4 (!!) in our league and they beated Dinamo 2-1. Rukavina scored of course. And in 2 games against Dinamo he scored 3 goals. First game was just between Dinamo-Arsenal and Arsenal-Dinamo games, so I guess somebody from Arsenal saw him score 2 in Maximir. http://www.prva-hnl.hr/1-tablica.php Remember that they just entered first league and he is the important factor for that.
Latest news from today: He apperently signed for Hajduk, and he joins them on summer 2007! What I simply don't believe because I don't se a point in that move. Even so, Lyon said about a week ago that if that happens thay will buy of his contact with Hajduk, and sign him. His comments were: "You don't say no to Lyon!" But I repeat I don't believe he signed for Hajduk.
