Got the Arsenal Official History from my wife for christmas (not expeceted as she is a yid)
Not seen it yet but i will let you know how good it is when i have seen it.
yeah i got it last year for x-mas. funny enough i watched it the other night. its great to watch. from 1886-2003 it goes through everything. including how we got relegated, but then due to the war, football stopped, and after the war the top division extended the amount of teams in it and he managed to get us in the top flight...so technically weve only ever played top flight football.
im not sure... but it is very very long. because remember we HAVE got a HUGE history...unlike our neighbors in the west end. it think its a must for every arsenal fan. it informs us about everything we need to know about arsenal's history. it really does make you proud to be a gooner. what is a amzing is that the stands (east and west stands) are identical to how they were in the 30's when they were built. you see it on the video. im glad the council blocked them from knocking down two historic buildings.
Running time is 170 minutes, so far got to watch about the first 30 minutes, my kids was still up and would not be quiet, should get to watch the rest later, but so far it is excellent
