best goals for me were theo's first (good approach play and linking up between rosicky and arshavin, clean finish from theo), and diaby's (very well-taken, henry would've been proud of that one).

The first goal was a great team goal. We really cut right through them with our passing, thats exactly the way we are supposed to function.

Great take from Diaby too. That would have been so easy to send flying over. I just wish he could tie it all together.

7) Chamakh must be more positive, kept trying to pass back instead of going forward when theres more space than he thought.

8) Diaby was pretty good, still took too much time on the ball. Many times he could have passed in through the defence, but kept spinning and trying too intricate things

I noticed that aswell. He seemed to freeze whenever he had space to attack and preferred to make the pass instead. His movement off the ball is very good, but he needs to develop some aggression when he has the ball.

I get the impression that Diaby is often quite lost when he has the ball and is in a position to attack.

Yesterday he seemed to slow play down too often, he got past the midfield and his instinct appeared to desert him as regards where to move to or who to pass to.

Diaby need to cut out trying to spin his way out of trouble. On numerous occasions he could have eased the pressure on himself by passing to an unmarked team mate, yet he tried to beat two players with a spin, and lost possession. It's amazing when he pulls it off, but the success rate needs to be higher to justify him doing it nearly every time he recieves the ball.

Watched the game properly today. Key points;

1. Song was terrible in the first 15 minutes or so, and that was what caused us a few problems, after that he got to grips with what he was trying to do, and we were never troubled after that.

2. Fullbacks played well, at both ends of the pitch.

3. It went unnoticed, but Wenger did what a number of us have been calling for; he left Walcott up, in between the halfway line and our area, for Blackpool's corners. Wilshere and Arshavin were also stationed on the edge of the box. From Blackpool's first corner it nearly paid off. Chamakh headed clear from his near post position, Walcott flicked it into Arshavin's pass, and then a red wave of Chamakh, Wilshere, Walcott and Arshavin sprinted up the pitch. Arshavin played it to Walcott, just inside their box, and it only needed a simple 5 yard pass inside to an unmarked Jack Wilshere for an almost certain goal, unfortunately Theo played the ball behind Jack though. It was an exceptional break though - brilliant to watch.

4. Fabregas looked extremely unfit when he came on. I'll be surprised if he starts at Ewood Park next week.

5. Wilshere was awesome. His passing was exquisite - long, short, high, low, floated, fizzed - and he rarely chose the wrong option. He made lots of tackles and interceptions, and his positioning was spot on. He could easily have had 3 goals on another day, 1st one was the break I described above, 2nd was where he was completely free 6 yards out and just waiting for Sagna to lay a square ball into his path for an easy tap-in, Sagna botched his pass though, and the 3rd was his great little run through in the last minute, where he stubbed his toe into the ground after rounding the defender. My only criticism of him is that he looked a little laboured when trying to chase players that had run beyond him, let a few go at times and although it didn't result in anything, it's something he will have to improve if he's going to start as deep as what he has so far this season. He also tired badly in the last 15 minutes or so. When you watch what he did closely you see just how great he was. Cesc-like.

Cesc definitely looked unfit, when he took his shirt off you could see he had lost some of his physique from last season, when he really was eating up a huge amount of ground each game.

Had a friend who was at the Liverpool game sing me the new Samir Nasri song today, now I can't stop singing it - it's brilliant!

To the tune of this;

I liked how Arshavin ran alot with the ball yesterday. Thats how he can be threatening.

Diaby is specialising in those difficult tap ins. We have seen a couple from him now.

I missed the game, I was away.
Anyone know anywhere I can watch the full length game please?
(Probably best to PM me it if anyone has it)

Arsenal Quotes

Arsène Wenger's idea is not only to play good football. It's to play good football to win. In my day, we knew that with our style we could hurt teams and win trophies too. But we did it our way, with the positional game, passing, movement.
