Remembering Havertz Missing 3 1v1s Against Villa
Xhaka was a key player in the CM area who left and Rice was a key player in the CM area who was brought in.

In our best periods of this season Rice was actually playing LCM with Jorgi DM so you’re clutching at straws and missing the general point.
Xhaka rice Ødegaard midfield is miles ahead of Jorginho rice Ødegaard. We are finishing 2nd this season and going trophy less just like last season although we spent 200 million last summer. This show we have infact regressed this season

It doesn't show that, at all.

Watching City against Fulham, we need to bring back our electric play between the lines, particularly in a tight block. Essentially that combination play we saw from us during 22/23.

Think our midfield signing will be big this summer, bigger than the striker signing in my opinion.

Watching City vs Fulham makes me realise that until teams realise they can attack them, they'll comfortably win the league year, after year, after year, no matter who they sell and who they sign. Its so easy for them.

This player is average and too safe on the ball. At-least Jorginho is progressive and buildup player depsite being physically washed and un-athletic.

Zubimendi wouldn't have helped us to get wins vs Bayern/Porto away from home for example. The club should be getting midfield level raisers.
i think we also suffer in that both our Cb's arn't the best passers, they're not bad by any means but they're not hitting cross field diagonals either.

Explain how finishing with more points, goals scored, less goals conceded and if not title winners, closer to City than we were last season shows that we've regressed.

I do think moving for Hato would release Ben White into our CB roles again, particularly quality rotation for Saliba. It probably marks the end of Diomande though.

Think for 35m it makes sense, with Zinchenko leaving for hopefully the same amount.

Something like this...

LB: Hato/Tomiyasu/Timber
LCB: Gabriel/Kiwior/Hato/Tomiyasu
RCB: Saliba/White/Timber/Tomiyasu
RB: Timber/White/Tomiyasu

Ironically I believe Tomi is a better LB than RB. Tomiyasu RB performances have been poor since his debut season. He's more stiffer when going forward and told to contribute to our attack since then.

Let him play LCB/RCB and backup LB against tough opposition (since he won't go past the halfway line often in that situation). That's why our LW should be someone who can take on opposition players in 1v1, 1v2 situations and deliver a final ball and not need an overlapping fullback to assist him, look at Vini taking on Laimer/De Ligt and Kimmich alone for example. This profile is quite hard to find unfortunately.

We overload on the right and switch to the left quickly, that weapon of a new LW will eat that situation quickly before the opposition can resettle their defence and shuffle it.

Arsenal 22/23

Finish 2nd. Martinelli, Jesus, esr,Ramsdale etc market values were very high. Only esr had a market value of less than 50 million. Ramsdale was at one point valued at 80 million, martinelli 100 million

Arsenal 23/24

Finish 2nd. Martinelli, Jesus ,Ramsdale, Esr market value has massively tanked.

Points doesn't matter, for instance if Arsenal won the league this season with 70 points then this season would be considered better than last season when they finish 2nd with 83 points

What does market value have to do here? Sounds like Arteta is doing an astounding job based on those metrics.

That fa cup and these fake title race got arsenal fans on a chokehold with Arteta. Ancelotti has won the league and is about win the CL without a striker, alonso is about to win a treble with an inferior leverkusen team but arsenal fans treat Arteta like he is some kind of genius and godsend although he has only won one fa cup in five yr after spending 600 million

Which astounding job? Name one player arsenal has sold for a massive profit since arteta was appointed as manager?

Arsenal Quotes

What does Arsenal mean? It means class. The structure of the Club, everything has a classy feel about it. It isn't always about success, there is more than that and this is what makes it a cut above the rest.
