Close to 600m spent without significant sales and still lots to do from a squad building perspective is not a very good look for the club. Done better than the likes of Utd and Chelsea ofc but in general not a good look.
We had to start from scratch though, with barely any sales. Plus we bought alot of established epl players. Costs more!

Not all buys gonna be successful but majority of our buys been good. Also you have to keep improving the squad or you'll be left behind spending lot of money is becoming normal and while we in CL we in good position but this summer we have to buy well and not try be clever

We are competing against a City team with players they got when transfer fees we low comparatively but still they spent over a billion pounds.

KDB would be atleast twice as costly today. Same with Silva/Ederson.
Check Citys transfer record these past few years, its not great. To replace KDB they will have to spead 120m+ for Musiala or Wirtz.

Edu need to not listen to Mikel and sell ESR Nelson Eddie and consider offers for Zinchenko and G.Jesus as DOF he need to tell the manager we have to go to another level and these players time here is up and not up to standard anymore they also past thier development stage

Still have the likes of Lokonga, Tavares and Tierney on loan as well. Edu’s selling has limited us quite a lot, I’ve been saying this for a while.

Players I think will go ...

Ramsdale
Cedric - OOC
Tavares
KT
Elneny - OOC
Partey
Sambi
Eddie
Jorg - if we don't extend

Players we might needlessly hang onto but should probably sell...

Viera
ESR
Nelson

The lack of sales is the real issue we have. We've made numerous blunders in this regard over the years, not selling AMN to Wolves for £25M and eventually letting him leave on a free, letting Mavropanos leave for peanuts, selling Torreira for a measly €6M to Galatasaray, not selling ESR to Aston Villa and Nketiah to Palace when we had the chance, etc.

Also its a myth that we have a small squad.

Nelson/Viera/ESR/Elneny/Nketieh are barely used even when fit when they have been signed/extended by Arteta/Edu in the last few years.

Keeping below par players in the squad does not help especially if the the trust is missing or misplaced.

We have huge squad in numbers. Small squad in quality. One of the good things with financial fair play and why I love it is it forces a hoarder like Arteta to move players on. He can’t buy another attacking midfielder when he has vieira and esr.

I think you’re in for a disappointing summer if you believe the club will splash those figures. For all we know, KFS might be content being back in CL. They’re not doing this for fun you know.

Then there’s the sustainability issues. Idk how are CL campaign helped in that regard, but the numbers you state are completely unrealistic.

No one wants to end up like Everton

The financial side of things has been analysed and we have plenty of wiggle room to spend like we did last summer.

Our wagesbill will be in even healthier position because Elneny Cedric will be leaving if we manage to sell Partey who earn over 200k it'll help us massively buying quality players.

But to me it's vital we get money from the players who not needed we got so many but we always say that and we fail at the end Tierney and Lokonga had good loan so at least I hope we get something

I think the positive here is that the squad is young and still developing. Some of our players are yet to hit their heights and others can be cycled another 3 seasons.

Arsenal Quotes

Young players need freedom of expression to develop as creative players... they should be encouraged to try skills without fear of failure.
