Look I don’t dislike Kiwior but I don’t think he’s at the required standard either.

I’m also unsure as to why people believe we’ll sign an out and out LB when we had Tierney who wasn’t even used here? On top of that the LB market is horrific. Best we could probably get is Ait Nouri.

Tomiyasu is 1/2 of a player with his injury-proneness, so that has to be taken into account. He hasn't played CB for ages, apart rarely for Japan.

Said it from the beginning, but Timber will be a inverted fullback for Arsenal, not a CB. He can play on either side. He is a bit short for a CB, and has no experience playing it at top leagues. His qualities are perfect for the inverted role.

So yeah, White can cover there, but like I said, you never want to do it at this point, unless absolutely necessary.
I never said anything about Tomi playing CB. Maybe you didn't read my post properly.

Teta has come out & said he bought Timber with several positions in mind, so clearly he likes his versatility & he obviously can play RCB, as can White.

You have no idea what Teta is thinking & you're just leaping to assumptions. I was just saying we have players who, by trade, are RCB, so we have sufficient cover.

*That being said, Teta will probably buy a CB in the summer cos it's his fetish lol

And why do they have to sell him? He has 4 years left, he is own youth, he is not going to force himself out to ruin the relationship with everyone related to the club. That would be a very shocking turn, and I don't see it.

They're not going to sell one of their best players, who has had amazing seasons, for peanuts to a rival.

People here thought Chelsea would have to sell Havertz for like under 40 million pounds. Never happened. And were shocked at the price. Chelsea could have kept him for another year, and they should have in hindsight (or every sight, because I was shocked that they were ready to sell him to a rival. And they only had Jackson as a striker to depend on.).

The story is they want to sell. It could be untrue. If they don't want to sell he stays put 100%. No one is going to blow up their wage bill and give a big fee for him.

Rashford is a problematic risky player. Lots of United fans are saying they play better without him. He doesn't press or track back at all, almost certainly going against coach instruction. He constantly loses possession with poor decision making in his passing. I can't remember which poster said 'he's there Auba/Özil', but there's a good case for that. Not only that but Rashford doesn't seem to play well in the centre.

Comparing him to Havertz isn't a valid comparison, because Havertz is a team player and an off the ball beast who constantly runs for the team while maintaining good link up play and possession football. Rashford is kind of the anti-thesis to that, he's a great finisher and pacey, but everything else is a big concern. He's a player you take a punt on, in a cut price deal and even then it could be a mistake.

Don’t get why it’s so funny.

Rashford, Gallagher and Solanke would be a top class summer that’d push us to CL contenders

Part of me thinks you need an intervention.

Then again at this point if Edteta decide on that I’d just roll with, if they can make Havertz work then yeah with those 3 we could probably win the quintuple

United fans expect him to work for the team. I think we can carry him without working for the team. He is clearly depressed and to expect a depressed guy to be work horse is unrealistic

He will work for our team.

Our squad is a lot more settled and united(no pun intended). Rashford will enjoy him self here working under Arteta.

The cherry on the cake is Gutierrez. He’s the dream Arteta left back cooked up in a lab. A “Terzino sinistro” who can double as a “regista” in possession.

He’ll be the most important signing since Özil and will allow us to unlock Rashford and the Gallagher/Rabiot centrale.

Brownhill as a mediano could cover for Gutierrez when he’s in midfield.

Arsenal Quotes

I was receiving offers from many other clubs and declining them all, even the most tempting ones. Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG contacted me, Bayern, France, England...I am happy to have been able to say no to more glory, more money, and to have been guided only by the idea of loyally serving the club. I had knitted myself a soul in Red and White.
