No bro the one I participated in like 4 bans ago the CL draft is still undecided. Apparently it is easier for America to indict Trump than for AM to complete a draft game.

The final will be tonight…

Chill out mate we’ve got a whole two weeks until the CL starts again 😉
Team FaRex bro going to dominate. Plus remember you promised i could randomize people by picking the number. Although A_G Sammer pick needs its own FFP investigation

This tournament was definitely created as some sort of science experiment to see how far you can push the human psyche before it breaks.

Shouldn't there be some drug testing done on the contestants? I'm worried someone might pull a Pogba...

So… it’s here. The moment we’ve all wanted, to hear a rumour that this draft might be completed was enough to send your heart into a flutter, a dream we dared not share for fear of scaring it away. The final is in the books, a champion has been crowned and finally it is time to tell that story…

What better way to start a CL Draft final than by mentioning the talking point on everyone’s mind… it was the final that UEFA always wanted but only got once all the way back in 2009…

RONALDO

All other pretenders like Mbappe, Henry or Ronaldinho had been vanquished and now it was down to the two greatest players of all time to slug it out for the ultimate honour of the greatest CL player of all time.

In the build-up to the biggest clash since Ali – Frazier or Kasparov – Deep Blue both were extremely complimentary of the other but rumours from behind the scenes spoke of a fanatical obsession on the training pitch with winning this summit of footballing greatness.

It was more than just the main headliners to this final...

We had two teams, twenty-two players and a tag team of three managers for the 4Juan6 Spartans against the lonely @A_G and AGFC.

Why three managers not two?

Well, after winning Drake from the Sauce Squad in the last round like he was a rare Pokémon, the 4 Juan 6 Spartans had taken the interesting decision in naming him co-manager. What was supposed to be an honorary title was nothing of the sort to the Canadian pop titan.

IMG_6838.jpeg

He started turning up to the training ground every day, he instructed Kaka on how to take pray more effectively, Carles Puyol on how to be homophobic, Gerrard on how best to sucker punch somebody, Casemiro on how to pick up constant suspensions while we won’t discuss Ronaldo and Dani Alves 1-2-1 sessions with him...

Indeed, on match day it felt like @Juan Matas Beard and @Gooner416 were relegated to support act as the teams emerged from the tunnel. Steven Gerrard, best friends with his managers now to the degree that all three went to a Phil Collins themed Karaoke night together, led the team out but all cameras were on Ronaldo and Drake walking out side by side in deep discussion at the back of the line in matching tracksuits.

On the other side of the coin there was serenity for AGFC. Messi trained like a man possessed but the line up was settled after Abedi Pele’s god like performance in the semifinal. He’d well and truly buried Rui Costa as a substitute.

In contrast to the showbiz razzle dazzle in the other dugout, AGFC walked out into the AM-stel Arena with steely determination. They were ready for war…

The line-ups were as follows:

AGFC 4Juan 6 Spartans
Oliver KahnPeter Schmeichel
Javier ZanettiDani Alves
Mathias SammerMats Hummels
Diego GodinCarles Puyol
Frank De BoerEric Abidal
Abedi PeleSteven Gerrard
Edgar DavidsClaude Makelele
FabinhoCasemiro
Lionel MessiKaka
Didier DrogbaDavid Trezeguet
Vinicius Jr.Cristiano Ronaldo

It was time for battle…

The time for talking had ended. Now only football was to come…

The final was in front of two sets of baying fans. No room for corporate plastics here. It was ultras and ultras only.

Unfortunately the football wasn’t quite as passionate. Both teams seemed determined not to let the opposing star man beat them.

Casemiro had clearly been told by Drake to Take Care and lock Messi down. For the first 10 minutes he stalked the little Argentine’s every move, cutting out any pass into him or robbing him of the ball.

On the other side the team Fabinho was clearly following the same gameplan as his Brazilian counterpart and was shadowing Ronaldo in tandem with Zanetti at every opportunity.

All in all it was a pretty diabolical opening 15 minutes with the ball constantly getting turned over in midfield.

With the ball at the feet of the majestic Sammer in the back line looking to quarterback proceedings there was always an opportunity to fashion something…

…and that’s exactly what he did.

Head up he spied that Messi had a darting move from
Messi behind Abidal had blocked Casemiro off and he had some room.

Driven ball over the top….

And Abidal slipped!!!

Ball took a huge bounce between the onrushing Schmeichel and Messi…

No time to control…

Had to go for the lob and…

WHAT A FINISHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The magesterial maestro Messi had milliseconds to make up his mind and he lobs Schmeicel and his arking shot just sneaks under the crossbar!

Incredible!

Drake and his assistants @Juan Matas Beard and @Gooner416 looked on in stony silence as Ronaldo and Gerrard bickered over how the Argentine had undone them with one simple pass.

Gerrard clearly had his blood up as barely 10 minutes later he went in for a 50/50 with Edgar Davids… with studs up!!!

Shocking challenge leaving the referee with no choice but to….

SHOW HIM A YELLOW CARD!?!?

Unbelievable decision… he could’ve broken Davids’ leg!

He got away with one there no mistake and he looked chuffed with it…

IMG_6843.jpeg

Maybe unfairly with eleven men on their team 4 Juan 6 Spartans got the ball down and started pushing hard.

Although Ronaldo was still marked out of it the likes of Kaka and Gerrard were starting to stretch the deep sitting AGFC and five minutes before half time a nervy Davids hauls down Trezeguet in a dangerous position outside the D.

Ronaldo and Gerrard immediately sprint over to the spot of the foul and start wrestling for the ball!

Despite Stevie Me’s best efforts it looked like the Portuguese great had the ball under his arm…

He places it emphatically on the turf…

Slightly to the right of the goal but a good distance for him to get it up and over the wall…

Legs stood wide…

Shoulders drawn high…

Deep breath…

We’ve seen it a hundred times before as he steps up… and…

OHHHHHHHHHHH!

IMG_6845.jpeg

KNUCKLEBALL ARROWED INTO THE TOP CORNER!!!

That is unreal and Drake is going wild on the sideline! It’s just like he told Ronaldo how to do it!

Both stars have turned up tonight…

Deep into injury time now at the end of this first half now with both teams level.

Messi again slips Casemiro who’s desperate lunge is evaded…

Squares up Hummels and makes him fall over!

Here he is again…

Here he is again, that’s astonishing….

Out comes Schmeichel… dink from Messi and…

That’s absolutely WOOOORLD CLASS!

IMG_6847.jpeg

He’s taken them apart!!!

As the half time whistle these two have come to play but so far it’s advantage Messi and @A_G FC to the score of 2-1!

Arsenal Quotes

Everybody knows how much I love Arsenal - I became a fan. And to be out here [in front of the Emirates as a statue] celebrating a goal against Sp*rs, there's not much else to say after that. Like I've said before: Once a Gooner, always a Gooner.
