or perhaps your envisioning is badThe plan was probably for him to take over the reigns from Özil. It’s not how I envision Arteta setting up though. He won’t change the system to suit ESR.

Just found out what that means. That is a fun fact.I’m Eskimo brothers with both Carl Jenkinson and Davide Santon. Another fun fact.
That can be arranged in January for sure, but before that, there are enough cup games for both him and Nelson to show what they can do and we could certainly benefit from having a backup option for Willian if he remains the only advanced midfielder we're gonna sign this summer.Think he needs another loan. A team in the Championship chasing the play-offs this time.

That sounds like the best option to me. We're in four competitions so they should get plenty of game time in the cups. Also, if one of them blows up like Saka last season, it would be good to have them at the club and keep them for the second half of the season. That can be arranged in January for sure, but before that, there are enough cup games for both him and Nelson to show what they can do and we could certainly benefit from having a backup option for Willian if he remains the only advanced midfielder we're gonna sign this summer.
Not sure how other clubs would feel about loaning them for only half a season though.
You recall him in January, but the League cup is almost over by then and so are the EL group games. Things also get more intense in the PL at that time so there will be fewer chances there as well. There has to be a recall option in almost any loan. Like there was with Nketiah and it was used because he didn't get enough game time.
It’s funnier but a white guy from Croydon with a hyphenated surname doesn’t scream Brexit to me.Weak title. Someone in this group called him the 'Brexit De Bruyne' which is much better.
Maybe he's holding out for the #10 shirtWhy doesn't he have a shirt number? Can only assume he's either going on loan again or we're waiting to sell someone and pass their number to him?
That isn't going to happen for at least another year.Maybe he's holding out for the #10 shirt
Good shout. On par with the "Romford Pele".It really should be 'The Croydon KDB". Current title makes me uncomfortable.
one can dreamThat isn't going to happen for at least another year.

Croydon Cruyff does have a nice ring to itI like the Croydon Cruyff myself.
Hate naming him after a rival’s player.
