If Arteta gets to pick the players he wants to work with then im cool with it.
In what sense? If the player was identified by Arteta and Edu it makes no difference (we’re led to believe Arteta and Edu had identified targets already).

All these new phase messages by Gabriel don't really mean much at this point, it's almost a foregone conclusion that he'll leave. It's just a question of destination.

Clear that Arteta has put an emphasis on a left footed CB back to links of Matviyenko and the signing of Mari. This could've been brought forward as an opportunity by Raul and his network which Arteta approved. Not sure the same type of agreement (personal terms and transfer) can be had with Raul gone.

Doesn't work like that, when you're a sought after player and there's lots of offers on the table it'll take time. Kids only 22 and it's a huge decision.

The Utd sources saying there is no interest from them. So 3 EL clubs want him.
If we sign him you’re not going to say “wow he turned down Utd and CL football to come here”. Utd are not interested.
