Another great performance. He should be starting at the moment.
I just hope we're careful with him, he's only 18 and could pick up issues if he's overplayed during the heavy christmas schedule.

He gives me that long lost Alexis Sanchez type of feeling. Goes for the goal, the pass, the tackle, the header, the take-on. Looks like a future one-man-team type of player.

The most impressive thing about him is the composure and mentality he displays throughout the game. It's all good having incredible dribbling/speed/shooting but what separates great players from others is that football IQ which this lad seems to possess to add to his footballing attributes.

Special talent for sure, he runs tirelessly, has pace, his off the ball work is a nuisance for defenders and his passion is infectious, give him a new contract with an outrageous release clause, kid just saved us from relegation...

This lad is special, he just seems to have that goal scoring knack that comes naturally.

I’m usually pretty reserved when it comes to hyping youth players on a small sample size but this kid is clearly something special. Technically he’s of course brilliant but it’s his attitude that really shines through. He’s clealry on a mission to fulfill his potential.

He's done everything to prove he deserves a PL start, I really thought Freddie would stick his neck out and go all out attack seeing as our defence is so poor. If we have Martinelli Auba Pepe up front the opposition are going to be far more defensive for fear of being hit on the break.

Good to see Freddie reads AM

It was border line criminal Saka was starting games ahead of him. Nothing against Saka, he is a youngster with potential but it was clear he isn't ready to start games for us on a regular basis, he still needs to gradually get used to this level. Whereas Martinelli even a blind person could see he was ready.
