Yes we should have signed them back then. If we get top 4 theres no downside.Cahill and Banega? Have I fallen asleep and woken up in 2011?
Don’t know what he’s been like this season but Cahill has been decent for Chelsea.
If it means we don’t panic buy a CB we later regret and instead buy quality in the summer then I’m fine with it

I know im not against a loan at all. Just from their point of view thats all. We've done business with Chelsea plenty of times.
Would be all for this tbh. We can worry about permanent CB signings in the summer.
Roman sold us Cech. Sold Matic to United as well. He seems to have a good relationship with players that served him well.Makes no sense for them considering they are our direct rivals for tòp 4

The club are playing the really long game here. I wonder what Chris Samba is up to these days. Would be great to get the dream pairing of so many A-Mers together in the famous red and white.
Don't forget Hangeland and Lescott Tbf, a lot of what we say now, will look ridiculous 5, 10 years down the line. The good ole days of arguing over which of Cahill, Samba or Jagielka to sign.
