The only way to raise funds at this point. He has to go tbh.
We have to sell one of Niles or Bellerin similar to Emi those positions allow to us to sell because we have good depth there we need to make decision and quick we can get 50M at least from them that'll help us to fund Partey and maybe Aouar deals.

Our asking price is 30M euros. would make sense sell him and keep Niles. but Niles is crap in back 4.
Is he though? How many games did he play there for Arteta? Whilst I dont mind HB he hasn’t improved for a long time. Best chance of getting decent money.

No matter what manager Niles plays with he is not a RB he can't defend and he not feel comfortable unlike when he play Wingback where he feel more safe because there is a cb behind him helps.

You rate AMN better as a fullback?
Could go either way, but I think Bellerin reached his ceiling whereas I don't think we've seen the best of AMN yet.

In a perfect world you'd probably keep Hector but if Emi is staying there's not many other options to raise funds since everyone is going on loan. I think £30m for Bellerin is a fair fee, but I would feel short-changed if they sold AMN for just £20m.

Feels like Bellerin's time at the club in coming to and end, whether it's now or in a year or time. £30m ish would be a win for everyone involved.

Decent character and good player on his day. You forget he's only 25 as he's been here so long.

AMN is a very good defender actually and has performed well at RB. He had a couple really nice performances there for Arteta in the early days before Bellerín came back and he was mysteriously yanked (it would seem AMN didn't seem to be for the labour of being a RB then).

Bellerín is a better passer but it seems unlikely he'll get his pace back, he's a good player but not elite, if PSG gave a good fee you definitely sell, one of AMN or Bellerín has gotta go to raise money given that RB is basically the only position we have good cover and saleable assets in.

Too bad, though, he feels very Arsenal to me, and you really feel he loves Arsenal and the club. Ideally I would've kept him around long-term as a competition for a younger, more talented RB but we need money to buy.

Yeah, he’s better as wing back but hopefully he can improve, he has all the right tools to succeed there. I think its a risk worth taking, Bellerin seems to have stagnated plus we need the cash

AMN will work well because he can slot inside on the attack. Saliba covering the right with his pace and Gabriel/Tierney on the other side with Xhaka dropping in deep is spot on.

Bellerin doesn't have the ability to do that and I dont see him as a proper athletic beast like I do with Ainsley.

Arsenal Quotes

It was a unique moment, a football fairytale. Was there anyone left who still believed I could give that kind of performance? Probably only Arsène Wenger.
