Someone like Marcelino is guaranteed to ensure that we are stuck in mediocrity..
You know this how?
Marcelino is not my first choice, but that's utter nonsense.

At some point you'll have to realise the manager doesn't have th tools to do the job but anyway. Carry on bursting blood vessels.yeah so? Do you want me to be a fan boy who will defend his favorites no matter what?
If Arteta is not up to the mark I will be the first one to admit that he should be sacked. What is wrong with that?
isn’t it better than defending him forever even when it is clear he is not capable?
His wife is also lethal lookingGood'ol AM, the world of extremes and extremes only
Arteta is without a doubt lacking experience as in being a head coach which means he has never experienced what it's like to be at the centre of pressure and potential fan abuse when results don't match expectations.
Yet, it's not like Arteta isn't coaching for years - HE DOES ALL THE TRAINING, he was even praised by numerous City player's for being the reason for reaching another level, he has experienced training in la masia, has been coached by Wenger and alongside Pep - WHICH IS EXPERIENCE. He had the required football intelligence himself as a player, he speaks perfect English, he gets to the younger players because he sits between very different generations himself and is thus most likely to be accepted by a broad audience.
It is annoying that people act like being a player, getting coached and working alongside the best ever coaches on the tactical side but also experiencing how they get the best out of the squad on a social level is not already a part of manager experience. IT IS.
Some people will never ever be better than others, no matter, if they've got huge tactical knowledge, if they don't bring the social skills that fit the present and everything that comes along with it like.
Arteta is no safe bet, but this "experience" as a head coach is overrated as **** - 50% of what you need for that is either given to you or not.
We won't know about Arteta's ability to drive under pressure, but we don't really know for any of the candidates in such a toxic environment.
We'll have to take a punt one anyone right now
Oh, and he's also got amazing hair.
Doesn't matter what they get for the players or where they finish. We've seen this before. They will plummet out of the top places because of the lack of depth in their squad.I wouldn't call getting 60-70m each for Maddison, Ndidi etc mugged off.
Plus if they finish in the top 4 Maddison, Ndidi and co are all still quiet young so they may feel another year more developing is better than jumping ship.
Rodgers has probably got a pay rise, has his players singing his song, sitting 2nd in the league playing possibly better football than liverpool.
.
You do realise the UCL places are only worth 30Mill or so extra. Where is all this BIG MONEY coming from? They won't suddenly get a 500 mill injection from it.they'll have big money to rebuild.

*EbertonHappy for Emery if he manage to get a job at Everton. In a long term I think Everton is a better fit but honestly when Raul is done with Arsenal we will be even worse.
Yes, they have and they plummeted down the league as well. Not really consistent form from them. They simply do not have the stature as a club to rebuild fast enough for the extra Champions league football they will have. Saying that, another league win or even 2nd place finish will start to get them into a position (In terms of their brand)..Leciester have won the league, lost top players, rebuilt a team and are challenging for the title again. In that time what have we done?
Because in his 20 years of management he has been mediocre at best. That's the biggest indication. 20 years 15 in lower leagues and 5 years in la liga. 20 years and never proved brilliance. Why would it change.

Rodolfo Borrell will also join Pep’s backroom staff and has a reputation of nurturing some of football’s most precocious talents.
It was Borrell who was Lionel Messi’s first coach at Barca and he also helped the development of Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta during his time at the Camp Nou.
He was Technical Director and Head of Coaching for Liverpool FC’s Academy after Rafa Benitez brought him to England in 2009.
While on Merseyside, he helped bring through players like Raheem Sterling, Jon Flanagan and Jordan Ibe, but he left the club in 2014. For the past two seasons he has been the Academy Technical Director, looking after the youth teams from U21s down to U9s.
Borrell will now become part of Guardiola’s backroom team as an Assistant Coach.
Like you spouting crap about Nagelsman being a scout but couldn't tell me one player he scouted.

@Toby Andrl
What do you think about Kovac after his gig at Bayern? Rumors he's interested in the Arsenal job.
