Nobody on here has said we've got the 6th best squad. We've got the 5th most expensive squad, that's a fact.

For twenty years Wenger's out performed his squad cost. This year and last he's finished one place below it, which means he's struggling. Time to go.

But get this in perspective. Klopp and Poch are doing now what Wenger did for 20 years. And they're only performing one or two places above their squad cost and still winning nothing domestically. Between 2005 and 2013, Wenger was finishing more than half the table above his squad cost.

I don't want to have the bring up the infamous squad cost argument but it is a fraud sorry. It's whole basis is dependent on inconsistent market valuations. Kroos is twice the midfielder pogba is yet costs 5 times less, thus completely misrepresenting the quality and warping the apparent raw material zidane and Jose are working with if you were compare both squads.
Man Utd's midfield of kroos modric costs total 50m, matic and pog off Utd cost total 140m. Zizou is doing some job
Add in the fact you can get some top players for free like Sanchez and ibra and your whole theory is a fraud. It's vaguely accurate in that you can't compare burnleys resources to city's etc but ranking squads and seperating by pound/euro is completely illogical.
