100% confident it won't be the usual 3-0 drubbing. I don't mind the 5 at the back if Tierney is playing. Just don't be over cautious.

If we play to Arteta’s instructions we’ll win this game. That’s with or without Partey. Citeh look a shell of the side they were two years ago. Massive outgoings and questionable incomings.

The lads believe they can win games like these now and that will be key. No De Bruyne is a huge plus for us. He tends to have blinders against us and his likely deputy (Bernardo Silva) hasn’t quite captured the form of two seasons ago either.

We can do this.

If @GDeep™ was a pundit, he’d be Tim, wouldn’t he? Terrible stuff.,

Not a bad shout...but rumors were that police used to let Adam Johnson watch football with them in jail and give his "expert opinion" on the games at fulltime.

So, I guess there is one "pundit" G is closer too than Tim...

No Tierney? Massive blow if he’s not allowed to play.

Also, Partey and Pepe both have to start. It doesn’t matter if Partey has had one/two training sessions or Pepe is too inconsistent, for what we paid for both they have to be thrown in and be the difference makers in these sort of games.

AMN and Thomas Partey either side of Xhaka when we’re overloading the midfield is going to be fantastic.

I think their athleticism is going to hide how poor Xhaka is off the ball. Got a feeling we’ll overpower that City midfield if we go with AMN, Xhaka and Partey.
