Here's hoping they beat us at home as comfortably as they've beaten Brighton, Bournemouth, Palace & Fulham.

It has fallen to me to shepherd our young, battle weary Gunners & will them on to see our last away match of the season in style.

It is to be the 32nd battle at Old Trafford between the two sides who, in the not-so-distant past, WERE the Premier League.

I say battle because no trip to Old Trafford has ever been a drab affair. Even when both clubs were cast into the wilderness.

Those titanic battles that did matter, usually swung the pelendulum towards the victor.

This legendary gunner knew what it's all about!!

We mustn't falter in the face of what is, undoubtedly, the worst United side since the PL era started. This is coupled with the fact they're being led by the worst United manager of said era & certainly the one most obsessed with us!!

God willing, it's a hard fought 3 points for us so that INEOS remains convinced Ten Hag is the way forward so he can fritter away another £400 million.

Thing is Rasmi's original point is categorically false. If this is the worst United team we've ever played at OT, the second worst was in 2016. The subs they brought on that day were Januzaj, Fosu-Mensah and some guy called James Weir. That was the day we allowed Rashford to score twice despite that match being his PL debut. We lost 3-2, despite being in the middle of a title race with Leicester, who we had just beaten the match before to close the gap to 2 points. We all thought that the title was on, and then we went and dropped that massive stinker.

Everything Rasmi slated Arteta for doing today while winning, Wenger actually did and lost. That's no disrespect to Wenger, he's a legend. It's just a fact we never had the requisite strength during his final few seasons.
That's unfair on Wenger, we were always 1-2 players short in the latter year of Wenger to win the title. Our first eleven was title winning. But as soon as we lost coqulien or santi to injury, we just weren't strong enough in midfield and we only had Giroud.

That season we only signed Cech and el neny, however we should've signed a proper quality midfielder along with a CF.

Wayne Rooney was saying that a lot of the 'injured' United players could probably have played today. What is going on at that club?

It just goes to show what we're up against. We've had to break our own records to get this close to a formidable City team. Let that sink in.

A good analogy is to see how Formula 1 seasons are going on. For the past few years, each season has been a ceremonial victory lap by Red Bull and Verstapen causing to titles with absolute ease.

For all the effort and massive points we gained so far, we could still end up as runners up with 89 points come Sunday.
Imagine the same happening to Liverpool with 97 and 92 points respectively. Until 115 FC gets properly punished and Pep fecks off, it will be extremely difficult to win the title under these circumstances of a financially doped up club charging through.

Still they had 5 starters (Onana, Dalot, Mainoo, Garnacho, Hojlund) also Case, Wan Bissaka and Mctominay are their main squad players. It is only Evans, Amrabat and Diallo that are not regulars ...
It's not about who they started it's the overall quality apart from Granacho and Mainoo the rest are midtable or lower quality that's why they finishing 8th

Nervy and timid but understandable in such a high pressure situation. We just need to get the points on the board and hope for a miracle. There's no shame in finishing 2nd to this City side, but we need to do so knowing we've given our absolute maximum.

Rooney and Merson are from an era when players would play through most things, even to their cost in the end...was just the culture at the time.

Henry played the end of our Invincible season with an injured foot, plus I think he played injured pretty much the entire 2006 World Cup for France...it was the "men are men" thing, unless something was pretty much broken they played football.

It’s not impossible to go through a season unbeaten and I can’t see why it’s shocking to say that.
