My original post I literally questioned American Gooner, giving Willian the benefit of the doubt cause I couldn’t see the logic of him doing that.

I’ve obviously got no affiliation with the player beyond rating him at Chelsea and thinking we could well do with a player of his quality. That’d be a crime on this board, though, apparently... As a few class players have, I think his game has suffered greatly due to setup and just a tweak will see the player in a much better light. For that reason, I’ve still got faith in his quality and his ability to deliver performances that help us recover. All the rest is nonsense and agendas imo.

It’s because Arteta’s never liked Pepe. If Arteta had 100 million to spend in the summer I think he’d have pushed for someone of a lot more quality than free signing Willian. The Kia connection can’t be a coincidence.

Me too. I thought he was going to be a very good signing and this **** we are seeing now would happen 2-3 years down the road when his legs went. Who could have know he was going to go to **** after 1 good game?

Like I said it's the classic chicken or egg argument. I think he at least deserves a chance to sign the players he wants and if he doesn't show improvement then good riddance imo. Can't say he hasn't been backed and given a fair crack of the whip then.
