He’s been pretty awful this season. I thought he showed enough promise last season especially in the big games against Utd and Pool in the league and City and Chelsea in the FA Cup. He’s got the ability to come good I just wonder whether its a problem with his mentality.

Even if he does well, I just think Arsenal fans and Arteta prefer the playmaking type winger anyways and he’s not that - there will always be something.

Yeah you’re right. We always seem to have new issues.

I don’t see Martinelli as a winger unless we take the wide forward approach, which means we’ll need to learn to play with two wide forwards in the side assuming Auba stays wide.
