Under pressure from the get go and never really looked to be putting Man Cit.... BRENTFORD in a position where they felt uncomfortable. For near 90 minutes they controlled the game and deserved their victory. Congratulations to them. They'll upset other teams.

I think we are at a point where we need to stop looking at stats. The results are simply not there and the football is incredibly boring and predictable.
That the problem we look always have 60%possession every game but not creating much until that not solved the football we play will always be boring

Our possession is worthless.

We have players best for winning the ball back and quick transitions. Arteta is a ****ing ***** stealing a living as a football coach.

Teams aren't stupid they allow us have the ball they sit back and defend against our toothless attack it was happening last season and it happening again arteta seem not solving this and as long he not fix this we gonna score alot of goals and going ti cost his job

When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

The better team won.

we are lacking that creative midfielder to give that cutting edge, the "pre assist" that ppl mock so much, that pass sometimes is more important than the assist itself....

What screamed in this much was lack of quality, every ball was weighted wrong, either over hit or under hit.
Every first touch was a bit off ( apart from ESR), those little things add up... we got out pressed by a championship side to the point we were scared to pass from a goal kick and we hoofed it...

we have no dynamic CM's to grab the ball and dribble past 1 or 2 players.... we cant rely on ESR he cant be everywhere, not at his age...

No matter how unhappy you are with your team, no matter how expected you feel defeats are, no matter how much the club has declined.

It still still hurts, when you see us play like that.

This is the same Arsenal we all fell in love with at some point, very sad.

Did you watch the match? Lokonga literally did what you're talking about, he wasnt being given the ball enough, but every time he did he done something good with it. ONe of the best transtions id seen us do in years was ball to Lokonga turns his man - quick ball to Esr centrally who turns and dribbles past his man, went from defence to attack in 2 passes centrally. We have some gems here now but not sure if Arteta knows how to use them.
