@ Sabre.

What do you want from Gallas and Silvestre? You tell me what should they have done differently to prevent the goals? Tell me what you would have done, watching on tv and with the benefit of hindsight, what would you have done if you were them?

It was three asssits for RvP by the way mate.

Almunia - 4

Sagna - 7
Gallas - 7.5
Silvestre - 7
Clichy - 6 Do you know what pisses me off? When you say, his mistake cost us third goal but it happens though - imagine if it was Gallas in his situation. ;) He was ridiculously great but doesn´t deserve better than this for the goal.

Walcott - 7
Denilson - 7.5
Fabregas - 6.5
Nasri - 7

RvP - 8
Ade - 6

Song - 1 Don´t laugh when coming on the pitch you *****, you know how it can end up.
Diaby - 8 for the few minutes, what a player he can be.

ARSENAL v TOTTENHAM PLAYER RATINGS
Posted 29/10/08 22:55

ARSENAL

MANUEL ALMUNIA: Spanish stopper was caught off his line for the opening goal, and spilled loose ball to gift Sp**s their second - 6.

BACARY SAGNA: Returned to the side after injury and slotted quickly back into all French defence. Useful on the overlap - 7.

MIKAEL SILVESTRE: Former Manchester United man was preferred ahead of Kolo Toure, and repaid the manager's faith with equaliser from a corner - 8.

WILLIAM GALLAS: Captain's display from the veteran, crowned by a superb header to put his side in front at the start of the second half, but could not prevent an extraordinary comeback by the visitors - 8.

GAEL CLICHY: Attack-minded, athletic left-back moved up and down the flank effortlessly. Provided good link with the midfield. Slip led to third goal for Sp**s late on - 7.

THEO WALCOTT: Lively England winger was threat down the right and kept Sp**s backline on their toes. Often double marked, which limited his impact in the danger area - 7.

CESC FABREGAS: Quiet, but effect performance from the Spaniard. Picked out some decent passes - 7.

DENILSON: Young Brazilian had a good tussle with Jenas in the centre of midfield. Plenty of strong challenges and couple of long-range strikes - 7.

SAMIR NASRI: Did not really stamp his presence on the match, but provided a good outlet on the left and his chip helped set up Arsenal's third goal - 6.

ROBIN VAN PERSIE: Dutchman worked hard, and his fine pass created opening for third goal before smashing in his 50th strike for the Gunners to seemingly make game safe at 4-2 - 8.

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR: Togo frontman covered a lot of ground and linked up well with midfield. Good determination to stabbed in a close-range effort in second half - 7.

SUBSTITUTES

EMMANUEL EBOUE (for Walcott, 76): Ivory Coast man injected some fresh legs into the Arsenal attack down the right - 6.

ABOU DIABY (for van Persie, 82): Added some strength to a reshaped midfield, but little chance to make an impression - 6.

ALEXANDER SONG (for Nasri, 88): Late introduction gave him few chances to have an impact - 6.

TOTTENHAM

HEURELHO GOMES: Suspect Brazilian should have done better for Arsenal's equaliser from a near-post corner, which he failed to collect. Little chance with the second goal - 5.

ALAN HUTTON: After a promising opening, the former Rangers man was caught out for Arsenal's third and fourth goals - 6.

VEDRAN CORLUKA: Croatia defender kept busy by van Persie and produced some important blocks - 7.

JONATHAN WOODGATE: Good battle up against Adebayor, which limited the impact of the Togo striker - 7.

BENOIT ASSOU-EKOTTO: Solid, if unspectacular display from the Cameroon defender. Sometimes drawn out of position and booked for careless block on Walcott - 6.

GARETH BALE: Liked to get forwards, but had to work the flank well when doubling up on former Southampton team-mate Walcott. Replaced in second half - 7.

DAVID BENTLEY: Ex-Gunner was greeted by jeers, but silenced them with a stunning 40-yard strike for the opening goal. At centre of most Sp**s positive moves. Blotted his copybook with a caution after a clumsy challenge on Clichy - 8.

LUKA MODRIC: Croatia playmaker saw plenty of the ball as Sp**s had better of first half, but his influence faded after the break - 7.

JERMAINE JENAS: Good battle with Denilson in the middle and put in plenty of strong challenges to help break up Arsenal's attacks. Fine strike to set up grandstand finish with a minute left - 7.

TOM HUDDLESTONE: Spread the ball around well, and was decent link-up between midfield and attack. However, conceded needless free-kick which led to Arsenal's second goal - 6.

ROMAN PAVLYUCHENKO: Plenty of running from the Russian, but failed to make an impact around the Arsenal box. Replaced in second half - 6.

SUBSTITUTES

AARON LENNON (for Bale, 55): Plenty of running, and was in the right place at the right time to snatch an amazing point in stoppage time - 7.

DARREN BENT (for Pavlyuchenko, 68): Grabbed Sp**s a lifeline with almost his first touch when he capitalised on a mistake by Almunia - 7.

CHRIS GUNTER (for Hutton, 80): Came in to shore up the defence, but match was already over - 6.
