but fundamentally, assuming gallas was marking him (which by all accounts he was)- if you lose the player you're marking you've got a lot of blame on you- particularly when gallas lost him by backing off of him far far too much- davis diddnt out muscle or manovure him- becasue gallas was so far away, trying to anticipate his movements, that davies diddnt need to do either
